The SGLR is situated on the High Peak Trail between Black Rocks and the National Stone Centre, near Wirksworth. You can park at either of these two locations. It is about five minute's easy walk from the car parks to the railway. The Railway is now included in a brown tourist sign scheme from the Wirksworth and Carsington areas. Additional signs are put out on operating days.
Disabled visitors should contact the railway and seek advice before visiting.
Trent Barton Service 6.1 between Derby and Bakewell operates paste Steeple Grange seven days a week. Yourbus Services 110 & 111 between Ashbourne and Matlock operate past Steeple Grange but do not run on Sundays or Bank Holiday Mondays

Travellers arriving by bus should alight at Steeple Grange. It is a short walk to the Railway on Old Porter Lane adjacent to the railway arch (Cromford side).
If coming by train, the best station at which to alight is Matlock Bath. Then use the bus as detailed above.
